Difference between Wet and Dry lab

Wet lab (water based experiments)

1. Wet lab or wet laboratories are laboratories where chemicals, drugs or other biological matter are tested and analysed using water.
2. It refers to the use of liquids for conducting experiments
3. Reefs to all routine laboratory experiments
Example: all routine laboratory experiments were chemicals are used

Dry lab (computer assisted analysis)
insilico analysis
1. Dry lab or dry laboratories are laboratories where computers or computer generated models are used for analysis.
2. It refers to the use of computers or computer generated models in analysing a biological data
3. Specifically refers to computer analysis mostly in an offline manner
Example: Use of some downloadable biological software for biological data analysis.
