Karyokinesis and Cytokinesis

Cytokinesis : The division of the cytoplasm to form two separate daughter cells immediately after mitosis.

Karyokinesis and Cytokinesis

1. It is first step of M phase of cell Cycle.
2. It brings about is the division of nucleus to form two daughter nuclei.
3. It corresponds to the separation of the daughter chromosomes into two daughter nuclei.
4. These is equitable distribution of genetic material.

1. It is second step of M phase of cell cycle.
2. Cytokinesis bring about division of cytoplasm of the parent cell to form two daughter cells.
3. It corresponds to the separation of the daughter nuclei into two daughter cells.
4. It distributes organelles including nuclei into daughter cells .
